Today, Nikon Launches a f/1.4 Prime Lens, a First for the Z Mount System (with sample photos)

Today, Nikon kicks off a new line of f/1.4 prime non S lenses for the Z mount. First up, the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.4 lens.
Even though it’s a faster lens compared to the f/1.8 S line of prime lenses, the S designation is missing from this prime. That may explain why it’s missing some of the coatings that are found on the S line of lenses.
